Eligibility Criteria for Ex-Servicemen
- Applicants must be drawing a pension and have ex-serviceman status.
- JCO/Sepoy (GD) must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- Tradesmen can be recruited on an All India Basis and must be a permanent resident of India.
- Age: No minimum age limit for a soldier. JCOs/soldiers must have retired within the last five years.
- Character certificate at the time of retirement must be EXEMPLARY/VERY GOOD.
- Physically SHAPE-1 at the time of retirement and currently.
- Minimum weight: 50 kg.
- Minimum height: 160 cm (152 cm only for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Assamese).

Eligible applicants should report to Jutogh Military Cantt (Shimla) at 0530 hrs on the following dates:
- Ex-servicemen (JCO, Jawan, and Tradesmen): January 20, 2026 (0530 hrs)
- Ex-female employees (MoEF&CC and State Forest Department): January 20, 2026 (0630 hrs)
