Current Opportunities
Electrician (Skilled)
- Role & Impact: You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of IIM Jammu's electrical systems, from maintaining lighting and wiring to operating 33/11 KV stations (p. 1). Your work directly impacts daily campus life.
- What You Bring: An ITI Passed certificate in Electrical Trade and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (p. 1).
- Compensation: Rs. 23,218/- monthly (p. 1).
Substation Operator (Skilled)
- Role & Impact: Operate and maintain essential infrastructure, including DG operations, HT panels, and synchronization panels, ensuring seamless power supply (p. 2).
- What You Bring: An ITI Passed certificate in Electrical Trade and at least 1 year of experience (p. 2).
- Compensation: Rs. 23,218/- monthly (p. 2).
Chiller/Boiler Operator (Highly Skilled)
- Role & Impact: Manage and maintain the campus's crucial heating and air conditioning (HVAC/VRV) systems, ensuring optimal comfort year-round (pp. 2-3).
- What You Bring: ITI Passed in refrigeration/mechanical/electrical with at least 1 year of relevant experience (p. 2). Experience with 500 Ton chillers is a plus.
- Compensation: Rs. 25,506/- monthly (p. 2).
Fire Alarm/Fire Extinguisher Pump Operator (Skilled)
- Role & Impact: Ensure the safety of the campus community by operating and maintaining fire hydrant pumps and alarm systems (p. 3).
- What You Bring: ITI in Electrical/Mechanical or Engineering trade with a minimum of 1 year of experience in fire safety systems (p. 3).
- Compensation: Rs. 23,218/- monthly (p. 3).
