Are You Eligible?

To apply, you must meet the following criteria as of the application deadline:

Education: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent (p. 3).
Technical Qualification: ITI in Electrician or Wireman trade from an NCVT or SCVT recognized institute (p. 3).
Language: You must have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation level or higher (p. 4).
Age Limit: 18 to 37 years (as of 01/01/2026), with standard age relaxations for reserved categories (p. 4).

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on a Computer Based Test consisting of two parts:

Part-I: A mandatory qualifying test on Punjabi Language (50 questions, 50% minimum to pass) (pp. 10-11).
Part-II: 100 questions covering Technical topics (50), Punjabi (20), GK (10), Reasoning (10), and Arithmetic (10) (pp. 10-11).

Note: There is no negative marking, and the exam duration is 3 hours (p. 11).
