- Chief Administrative Officer (CAO): 1 Post (UR) | Pay Level 12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) (p. 2)
- Finance Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO): 1 Post (UR) | Pay Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) (p. 2)
- System Manager: 1 Post (UR) | Pay Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) (p. 2)

On Contract Positions
- General Manager (Administration): Consolidated salary of Rs. 1,50,000 per month (p. 2)
- Chief Security Officer: Consolidated salary of Rs. 95,000 per month (p. 2)
- Legal Officer: Consolidated salary of Rs. 95,000 per month (p. 2)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Superintending Engineer
- Education: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute with at least 55% marks (p. 2).
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years as an Executive Engineer in Pay Level 12 or 13 years in Pay Level 11 (p. 2). Private sector professionals with equivalent experience in corporate firms like Larsen & Toubro, Tata Projects, or Shapoorji Pallonji are also eligible to apply (p. 3).
- Age Limit: Preferably below 50 years (p. 3).
2. Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
- Education: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks. Candidates holding an LLB degree will be preferred (p. 3).
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of administrative experience, including 5 years at Pay Level 11 or 10 years at Pay Level 10 (p. 3). Corporate professionals working as General Manager (HR & Administration) or equivalent can also apply (p. 4).
- Age Limit: Preferably below 50 years (p. 4).
3. Finance Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO)
- Education: Final examination pass in CA / ICWA / CMA, or an MBA in Finance (p. 5).
- Experience: At least 12 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years in Pay Level 10 (p. 5). Candidates must have experience finalising accounts, preparing balance sheets, and dealing with CAG auditors (p. 5).
- Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years (p. 6).
4. System Manager
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 55% marks (p. 6).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT infrastructure and website management, including 5 years in Pay Level 10 (p. 6).
- Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years (p. 7).
5. Administrative Officer (AO)
- Education: First-class Master’s Degree; candidates with a first-class MBA or equivalent Post Graduate Degree in Management are preferred (p. 7).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in General or Academic Administration, with at least 5 years in Pay Level 08 or above (p. 7).
- Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years (p. 9).

Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 1,200 (Non-refundable) (p. 15)
- SC / ST / PWD / Women Candidates: Exempted from paying the application fee (p. 15)
Selection Methodology
- Group A & Contractual Posts: Selection will be primarily based on Personal Interviews (p. 14). A written test may be conducted for shortlisting if the institute receives a large volume of applications (p. 14).
- Group B & C Posts: Selection relies on a 100-mark evaluation breakdown: Written Test (50 Marks), Skill Test (30 Marks), and Personal Interview (20 Marks) (p. 14). The written test includes sections on General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Ability, and profession-related subjects (p. 14).
Step-by-Step Procedure to Apply
- Go to the IIM Sirmaur Recruitment Page and complete the online registration form (pp. 14-15).
- Upload the necessary credentials and pay the application processing fee online (pp. 14-15).
- Submit the digital form and print out the online-generated application sheet (p. 15).
- Attach self-attested photocopies of your 10th and 12th mark sheets, degree certificates, semester grade sheets, categorized certificates, No Objection Certificate (NOC) if employed in a government firm, and your last 3 months' salary slips (p. 15).
