JOB UPDATE

Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of Research Fellow provided in the scheme, Evaluation of herbicide TVE29 400 g/l SC(tetflupyrolimet) in wet transplanted rice, Misc-79 (PC-5062)” @ Rs. 25,000/- fixed p.m. on the prescribed proforma obtainable from the office Room no. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller, PAU Ludhiana.

Essential Qualifications:-

B.Sc(Agri.)/ B.Sc (Hort.)/B. Sc (Forestry)/ B.Sc. with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
M.Sc. in Agronomy with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note I : The candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject(s) i.e., Agronomy but possesses Ph.D. degree in Agronomy, shall be eligible for the post.

Note II. Preference will be given to the candidates having previous work experience in the field of Agronomy.

The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects in this office is 07.07.2021. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 13.07.2021 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
