Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is determined by educational qualifications, age limits, and experience as of the closing date of application (December 4, 2025). (p. 23)
- Educational Qualifications: Vary widely by post, from Class X pass for MTS to Master's degrees with B.Ed. for PGTs and administrative roles. (pp. 8, 22)
- Age Limit: Ranges from not exceeding 27-50 years, with relaxations available for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Govt. employees) (pp. 22-23)
- CTET Requirement: A valid Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate (Paper-I or Paper-II as applicable) is essential for most PRT and TGT posts (except specific specialized subjects). (p. 23)
Selection Process
The selection process generally involves a two-tier examination followed by an interview or skill test, depending on the post applied for. (p. 24)
- Tier-1 Exam: A preliminary, objective, OMR-based qualifying exam. (p. 25)
- Tier-2 Exam: A subject-knowledge examination (combination of objective and descriptive). (p. 27)
- Interview/Skill Test: For shortlisted candidates from Tier-2. (p. 27)
