Job Opportunity at CSKHPKV Palampur: Teaching Positions Available
Applications are invited for temporary teaching positions on a contact hour basis at the College of Agriculture, Ch. Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur (p. 1).
Available Disciplines
The university is looking for persons to teach in the following disciplines for the 1st & 2nd semester of the Academic Year 2025-26 (p. 1):

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master's degree and have qualified NET from ICAR/UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited test in the concerned discipline (p. 1).
- For candidates with a Master's degree, NET is compulsory along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal (p. 1).
- Retired University/College teachers in the concerned discipline can also apply (p. 1).
- Certain exemptions for NET essentiality exist for Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009, provided specific conditions are met regarding their Ph.D. work and evaluation (p. 1).
Remuneration
Payment is on a contact hour basis, subject to maximum monthly limits (p. 1):
- Master's degree holder: @ Rs. 850/- per contact hour, maximum Rs. 35,000/- per month (p. 1).
- Ph.D. degree holder: @ Rs. 1,000/- per contact hour, maximum Rs. 42,000/- per month (p. 1).
Incumbents engaged may also be assigned examination duties like invigilation, setting question papers, and evaluating answer books for an additional remuneration of Rs. 5,000/- per course per semester (p. 2).
Terms & Conditions
- The services offered are purely temporary and a stop-gap arrangement (p. 2).
- Hired persons will have no right to regular appointment (p. 2).
- The college reserves the right to terminate services at any time without reason or not to hire anyone (p. 2).
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and fulfill all qualifications by the last application date (p. 1).
