Note: All regular posts include additional allowances like DA, medical allowance, and contributory pension schemes as per Sainik Schools Society rules (p. 4).
Age Limit
Age criteria (as on December 06, 2025) vary by post (pp. 1-3):
- PGT, TGT, PEM/PTI: 21 to 40/35 years.
- Non-Teaching Staff (OS, UDC, LDC): 18 to 50 years.
Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) applies as per government norms.
Selection Process
Selection is based on a multi-stage process:
- Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written exam (100 marks for PGT/TGT/Lab Assistant/PTI; 50 marks for OS/UDC/LDC) (p. 6).
- Skill Test/Class Demonstration: Successful candidates in the written test proceed to a skill test or class demonstration (p. 6).
- Interview (as applicable).
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection tests (p. 6).
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted offline only (p. 5).
- Download the form: Use the prescribed format attached in the official notification PDF.
- Prepare documents: Attach self-attested copies of all testimonials, two passport-size photographs, and a self-addressed envelope with ₹50 postage stamps (pp. 5, 8).
- Pay the fee: Enclose a non-refundable Demand Draft (DD) for ₹500 (Gen/OBC) or ₹250 (SC/ST), payable at Gauriganj or Amethi in favor of "Principal Sainik School Amethi" (p. 5).
- Send the application: Send the completed application via Ordinary Post, Registered Post, or Speed Post only to the address below. E-mail/by-hand applications will not be accepted (p. 5).
