Are you a passionate social science researcher looking to make a real-world impact? The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), an 'A+' NAAC-accredited institution, is recruiting a dynamic team to shape the future of India's medical tourism market (p. 1).
We are seeking Research Associates, Research Assistants, and Field Investigators for an ICSSR-funded, longitudinal study titled "Building Strategic Roadmap & Global Competitiveness Strategy for the Medical Tourism Market of India Based on Longitudinal Data" (p. 1).
The Opportunity: Unexplored Potential in a Growing Field
India's medical tourism sector is booming, attracting patients from around the globe for cost-effective, high-quality treatments and alternative healthcare methods like Ayurveda and Yoga. This project is a chance to dive into an area with immense potential and help shape national policy.
Positions Available (Temporary & Contractual)
We have three key roles available for highly motivated individuals:

Note: All positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (p. 2). Appointees must be prepared for extensive fieldwork across India (p. 2).
Who We're Looking For
We need proactive, detail-oriented researchers with strong academic backgrounds in social sciences (MBA Tourism/Travel & Hospitality Management, MTA, MTTM preferred) (p. 1).
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in a relevant social science discipline (p. 1).
- For Research Associates: NET/M.Phil/Ph.D with 2 years of relevant research experience (p. 1).
- For Research Assistants: NET/M.Phil./Ph.D (p. 1).
- Proficiency in English, data analysis, documentation, and a readiness for intensive fieldwork are key requirements (p. 1).
