Positions & Pay Scale
The recruitment is for Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty) positions across various forces including BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF, and Assam Rifles. The pay scale for these posts is Pay Level – 3, ranging from ₹21,700/- to ₹69,100/-.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th class exam from a recognized Board/University as of January 1, 2026.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 23 years old on January 1, 2026, with age relaxations available for reserved categories.
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India and provide a Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate.
Selection Process
The four-stage selection process includes:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): An objective exam in multiple languages with negative marking.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Physical tests including a race and measurements.
