Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit (as of March 2, 2026): 18-25 years for General category; 18-28 years for OBC category (p. 1).
- Essential Qualification: An ITI Certificate in cutting and tailoring/Sewing Technology from a government-recognized Industrial Training Institute (p. 2).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tailor in a Govt./Semi-Govt. Institution/PSU/Autonomous Body is required (pp. 2, 6). A valid experience certificate must be uploaded as proof (p. 6).
- Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi/English (p. 2).
Selection Process
The selection process includes a written test (50 marks) and a Trade Proficiency Test (50 marks) (pp. 3-4). The written test will feature 100 multiple-choice questions on topics like Sewing Technology, General English, General Knowledge, and more, at a Class 10th level (p. 3).
