Eligibility Snapshot
The essential qualifications, experience, and age limit vary by post and department. The crucial cut-off date for determining eligibility is the closing date of application, March 25, 2026.
- Legal Assistant: A Degree in Law from a recognized university is essential, along with 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, depending on the specific department. The age limit is generally not exceeding 30 years.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) & Junior Engineer (Civil): A Degree or a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering is required. For some Junior Engineer roles, a diploma also requires two years of experience. The age limit is typically around 30-32 years.
- Assistant Section Officer: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university/institute is the essential qualification. The age limit is generally between 21 and 30 years.
Age relaxation benefits are applicable as per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM).
Selection Process Overview
The selection for these posts will be based on a Computer Based Examination.
- One Tier examination for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Civil).
- Two Tier examination for Legal Assistant and Assistant Section Officer.
A negative marking of 0.25 marks for 1-mark questions and 0.50 marks for 2-marks questions will be applicable for each wrong multiple-choice answer.
