Selection Process Overview
The selection process varies by post:
- Junior Hindi Translator: Selection is based on a two-paper written competitive examination (Paper-I OMR-based objective type, Paper-II descriptive type) (p. 3).
- Security Assistant: Candidates must first clear a qualifying Skill/Physical Test and Personality Assessment Test, followed by a competitive written examination (pp. 4, 16-17).
- Multi-Tasking Staff: A qualifying Trade Test will be followed by a written examination (OMR or computer-based objective type) (pp. 4-5).

- Commencement of Online Application: 02nd Feb, 2026 from 10:00 AM (p. 1).
- Last Date for Submission of Online Application & Payment of Fees: 23rd Feb, 2026 up to 05:00 PM (p. 1).
How to Apply
Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the official CSIR-CRRI website, www.crridom.gov.in (p. 12). The application fee is ₹500/-, though candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt (p. 13). Hard copies of the application are not required to be sent by post (p. 1).
