Applications are invited for a walk-in interview for the engagement of one Young Professional-II (YP-II) position in the NADCP on FMD project at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Shimla (p. 1).
Position Details
- Post: Young Professional-II (YP-II) (p. 1)
- Emoluments: A consolidated salary of Rs 42,000/- per month (p. 1).
- Place of Working: LHDCP-FMD Project, AICRP Collaborating Centre, Shimla, Epidemiology Section, State Veterinary Hospital, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh (p. 1).
- Appointment Period: Initially until March 31, 2026, with a likelihood of yearly extensions based on performance (p. 2). The appointment is purely on a contractual basis (p. 2).
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- A Post Graduate degree in Life Science (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry or equivalent) (p. 1).
- OR a Graduate degree in Agriculture Science/Technology (includes all Agriculture and allied sciences, Animal Science, Veterinary Science) (p. 1).
Desirable:
- Candidates with knowledge and experience in the ELISA technique will be preferred (p. 1).
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 45 years on the date of the interview (with relaxations for SC/ST/women candidates by 5 years and OBC candidates by 3 years) (p. 1).
Interview Process
Interested candidates must attend the walk-in interview at the Committee Room (p. 1).
- Date: The specific date was left blank in the provided notification (p. 1).
- Time: 10 am sharp (p. 1).
- Requirements: Candidates must bring their complete bio-data, self-attested copies of testimonials and age proof, a passport size photograph, and all original certificates for verification (p. 2). A specific application form (Annexure-I) must be submitted (pp. 2-4).
- Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview (p. 2).
