District & Sessions Judge Barnala Recruitment 2026: Apply for Worker and Guard Posts.
The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Barnala has released a public notice inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the posts of Worker and Guard. These positions are entirely on a contract basis for the financial year 2026-27, with salaries aligned to the minimum wages fixed by the Deputy Commissioner of Barnala.
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their offline applications before the closing deadline.
Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria
All eligibility conditions, including age and educational qualifications, will be calculated as of June 1, 2026.
1. Worker
- Total Vacancies: 1 post
- Age Limit: Between 20 and 40 years.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a Matriculate (10th pass) and possess functional knowledge of the Punjabi language. Eligibility and selection will follow the National Minimum Guidelines under the Maternity Benefit Act, 2017.
2. Guard
- Total Vacancies: 1 post
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 35 years.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have knowledge of the Punjabi language up to at least the middle standard (8th pass). Eligibility rules adhere to standard Group-D posts in this Sessions Division.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a skill test or interview. No separate call letters or physical information notices will be sent to applicants. Candidates are strictly advised to keep checking the official website of the Barnala District Court (dcourts.gov.in) to stay updated on the interview schedule. Applicants must bring all their original testimonials and documents at the time of the skill test or interview.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must apply using the prescribed application proforma printed in the official notification.
- Fill out the application form legibly in block capital letters.
- Paste one recent passport-size photograph on the upper right side of the proforma and include a second photograph with your documents.
- Attach self-attested copies of all necessary testimonials, including proof of qualification, date of birth, and reserve category status if applicable.
- Check the box regarding any pending FIR or criminal cases, attaching the status if applicable.
- If you wish to apply for both posts, you must submit separate applications in separate envelopes.
- Clearly super-scribe the envelope with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF WORKER" or "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GUARD" depending on the position.

- Last Date for Application Submission: August 5, 2026, by 5:00 P.M.
Incomplete applications or those received after the 5:00 P.M. deadline on August 5, 2026, will be rejected immediately without assigning any reason. Ensure your application is sent well in advance to avoid postal delays.
