Government Jobs: Ministry of Defence ECHS Recruitment 2026
The Government of India Ministry of Defence has released an employment notice for multiple Medical, Para Medical, and Non-Medical positions under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) at Station HQ (ECHS Cell) Yol.
These positions are available on a contractual basis across various polyclinics including Yol, Hamirpur, Dehragopipur, Sarkaghat, and Barsar. Contract periods are set for one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates and 11 months for civil candidates, with possibilities for renewal.

Important Dates to Remember
- Application Deadline: Applications in triplicate must reach Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Yol by 14 Oct 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Interview Date & Time: Candidates must report to Stn HQ, Yol at 0900 hrs on 02 Nov 2026 for interviews starting from 0930 hrs.
How to Apply & Selection Rules
- Download Form: Visit the official website at ECHS India and click on "Employment Opportunities" to download the application format, full qualifications, and terms.
- Documents Needed: Submit the application in TRIPLICATE along with self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, matriculation mark sheet, graduation/diploma degree, work experience certificate, and a Medical Fitness Certificate signed by a CMO/SEMO.
- Special Tests: Candidates applying for Clerk and DEO posts will have to undergo a mandatory written test and computer practical exam.
- Preferences: Priority is given to Ex-servicemen, Widows of Service Personnel, and Veer Naris.
