IIT DELHI RECRUITMENT OUT

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, also known as IIT Delhi, is currently inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in various academic units. This is a rolling advertisement, and there is no last date to apply. The selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level 12 (Rs.1,01,500-1,67,400) with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/- and will be eligible for promotion to Pay Level 13A1 (Rs.1,31,400-2,04,700) after completing three years of service. The institute encourages applications from candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories, as well as persons with disabilities.

As per IIT Recruitment 2023 official notification, the minimum qualification required for the position of Assistant Professor (Grade I) is a Ph.D. degree with a first-class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch/discipline, along with a good academic record throughout. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching/research/professional experience, excluding the experience gained before and while pursuing Ph.D. They should also have demonstrated research capabilities through publications in reputed journals and conferences. Candidates with a Ph.D. but with less than three years of experience can be considered for the position of Assistant Professor (Grade II).
