CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2025: Opportunity to Join as Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).

The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, a leading research and development institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). This is an opportunity for eligible candidates to join a prestigious scientific organization engaged in high-quality research on drug discovery from natural resources. Key Vacancy Details

The recruitment is for two different post codes, MTS-01 and MTS-02, with a total of 19 positions available. The posts are classified as Group C (Non-Tech) with a pay scale in Pay Level 1 (₹18,000 - ₹56,900).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent. An intermediate (12th Class) pass with experience in the relevant area is considered a desirable qualification.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxations are available for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, and other specified categories as per government rules.

Roles and Responsibilities

The MTS positions are divided into several job requirements:

MTS - Office Maintenance: This includes physical maintenance of records, general cleanliness, carrying files, photocopying, sending faxes, and handling mail.
MTS - Hospitality Services: Responsibilities involve maintaining guest house records, collecting charges, ensuring cleanliness of rooms, and attending to guest queries.
MTS - Horticulture / House Keeping: This role focuses on the upkeep of gardens and green spaces, planting, trimming, weeding, and pest control.
MTS - Transport: Duties include maintaining vehicles, scheduling maintenance, managing vehicle records, and potentially performing driver duties.

Selection Process and Application Details

The selection process involves a Trade Test for eligible candidates, which is intended to assess their practical knowledge as per the job requirements. The Trade Test is a qualifying step.

Application Dates: The online application process began on October 27, 2025, and the last date for submission is November 28, 2025.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay an application fee of ₹500/-. However, the fee is not applicable for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and women candidates.
How to Apply: Applications must be submitted online through the official CSIR-IIIM website. A copy of the e-receipt for the application fee should be retained as it must be sent with the hard copy of the application.
