Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for these posts, applicants must meet the following criteria as of January 1, 2025 (p. 1):
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) from a School Education Board/Institution recognized by the HP Govt. or Central Govt. located within Himachal Pradesh (p. 1). This specific condition regarding the institution's location does not apply to bonafide Himachalis (p. 2).
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years old (p. 1). Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/WFF/Persons with disabilities of H.P. as per government rules (p. 1).
How to Apply
- Download the Application Form: The prescribed application form must be downloaded from the official HPIDB website: http://himachalservices.nic.in/hpidb/ (pp. 1, 4). No other application format will be accepted (p. 1).
- Fill the Form: Complete the form in your own handwriting using a blue or black ink ballpoint pen (p. 2).
- Prepare Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of all required certificates, including matriculation certificate, caste/category certificate (if applicable), Himachali bonafide certificate, and an Aadhar card copy (pp. 1-2). A signed passport-size photograph must also be pasted in the designated box (p. 2).
- Pay Application Fee: The fee is ₹500 for the General category and ₹300 for OBC/ST/SC categories (p. 2). This must be paid via a Bank Demand Draft in favor of the "Chief General Manager, HPIDB," payable at Shimla (p. 2).
- Submit the Application: The complete application, along with all documents and the demand draft, must be physically submitted to the office of the Chief General Manager, HPIDB, during office hours on or before the closing date (p. 4).
- Address: H.P. Infrastructure Development Board, New Himrus Building, Circular Road, Shimla-171001 (p. 1).
Important: Ensure your application is complete and submitted on time to avoid rejection (pp. 3-4). The HPIDB will not be responsible for any postal delays
