ECHS Recruitment 2026: Opportunities for Medical & Non-Medical Staff Across India
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released multiple notifications for the recruitment of medical, paramedical, and non-medical staff on a contractual basis. These opportunities are available across various ECHS Polyclinics and Station Headquarters in different states.

- Radiographer, Lab Assistant, Lab Technician
- Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Nursing Assistant, Dental Assistant
- Driver, Female Attendant, Peon, Safaiwala
- Clerk, Data Entry Operator

- Employment Type: Contractual, typically for a period of one year, renewable based on performance.
- Preference: Ex-servicemen are given preference for most positions.

Salary Range
Monthly fixed remuneration varies by post:
- Medical Specialists/Gynaecologists: Up to ₹1,30,000/-
- Medical/Dental Officers: ₹95,000/-
- Pharmacists, Nursing Assistants, Technicians, etc.: ₹36,500/-
- Drivers: ₹25,600/-
- Peon, Safaiwala, Chowkidar: ₹21,800/-
How to Apply
Interested candidates must download the application form from the official ECHS website (www.echs.gov.in). The completed application, along with self-attested photocopies of all necessary educational qualifications, work experience certificates, PAN card, Aadhaar card, medical fitness certificate, and discharge book (for ESM), should be submitted to the concerned ECHS Cell/Station Headquarters by the specified last date.
