🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this training program under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, you must fulfill the following parameters (p. 2):

Class 10th Metric: Passed with a minimum of 40% marks from a recognized board (p. 2).
ITI Course: Completed the relevant ITI course and hold a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or SCVT (pp. 2-3).
Mandatory Identity Document: You must possess a valid Aadhaar Card linked to your online profile (p. 2).
Exclusions: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently pursuing apprenticeship training in any other establishment are not eligible to apply (p. 3).

📊 Selection & Merit Process

Selection will be done automatically through the database portal based on a weighted merit score calculated as follows (p. 2):

30% Weightage: Calculated from your 10th Class marks (p. 2).
70% Weightage: Calculated from your ITI Course marks (p. 2).

📍 Preference & Reservation Policies:

Local Bonus: 25% of total seats in each trade are reserved for candidates who hold a residency certificate of the project-affected districts, namely Mandi and Bilaspur (HP) (pp. 2-3).
Tie-Breaker: In case two applicants score identical marks, the older candidate will get preference. If the date of birth is also identical, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be preferred (p. 3).
