Educational Qualifications
Requirements vary based on the nature of the specific post (p. 4):
- Group A (Engineers/Registrar): B.E./B.Tech or Master's degree in the relevant discipline with prescribed years of experience (pp. 4-5).
- Administrative & Clerical (Assistant/Stenographer): Bachelor's degree from a recognized university along with required typing or stenography speeds (pp. 6-7, 9, 11).
- Support Staff (MTS/Cook/Mess Helper): 10th Pass or ITI certificate from a recognized board (p. 11).
Selection Process
The evaluation structure strictly follows JNU administrative rules (pp. 1, 19):
- Paper I (MCQ): General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematical Ability, Language (English/Hindi), and Computer Awareness (p. 19).
- Paper II (MCQ): Domain-specific knowledge test for applicable technical and administrative posts (p. 20).
- Skill/Skill Test: Typing tests or Stenography tests where applicable (Qualifying nature) (p. 22).
- Interview/Personality Test: Only applicable to Group A positions (pp. 16, 23).Note: There is no interview round for Group B and Group C posts (p. 16).
