Punjab and Haryana High Court Frash Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 31 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the post, candidates must satisfy the age boundaries and educational qualifications set by the recruitment cell.

Age Limit:

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age as of September 18, 2026. For candidates belonging to the Ex-Servicemen category, the upper age limit is relaxed by a period equal to their defense service plus an additional 3 years. A Matriculation Certificate or a valid Birth Certificate is mandatory to verify the date of birth.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a functional knowledge of Hindi and the regional language.

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable and must be processed online during registration. Online transaction charges will be levied additionally by the payment gateway.

General and SC/ST/BC candidates belonging to states other than Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh: ₹700
SC/ST/BC candidates domiciled in Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh: ₹600
Ex-servicemen candidates: ₹600

Dependents of Ex-Servicemen who were disabled or deceased during active operations are fully exempted from paying the application fee, provided they upload valid supporting documentation.

Selection Process

The selection protocol for the Frash vacancy does not involve a written examination. It is strictly divided into two operational stages:

Interview (50 Marks): The evaluation consists of 25 marks assessing job suitability and 25 marks assessing personal etiquettes and manners.
Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates scoring high enough in the interview will be shortlisted in a 1:4 ratio per category to participate in the PET. The PET is strictly qualifying in nature and includes an 800-meter race, a long jump, and a high jump. The performance parameters for the physical tests are scaled dynamically according to the candidate's age group and gender.
