Who Should Apply?
Each role has specific criteria, ranging from medical degrees to graduation in social sciences:
- For Deputy Director: You’ll need a medical degree (MD/DNB in Community Medicine/Epidemiology) or a Master’s in Public Health/Statistics/Social Sciences with 5 years of experience in surveillance or research.
- For Assistant Director: A graduate degree and 3 years of experience in HIV-related matters. Preference is given to PLHAs (People Living with HIV/AIDS) and community representatives.
- For Store Officer: A graduate with 3–5 years of experience in store management and inventory control.
- For ICTC Counselor (OBC Category): A degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology. Post-graduates are also welcome, and there are relaxed experience requirements for those living with HIV/AIDS.
Key Details to Remember
- Age Limit: Up to 60 years.
- Selection Process: Posts 1–3 require a written exam and interview, while the ICTC Counselor (Post 4) is selected via written exam only.
- Language Preference: Local candidates with knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi will be given preference.
- Nature of Job: Annual contractual basis, renewable based on performance.
