The Regional Office in Chandigarh is inviting online applications for the empanelment and engagement of teachers and staff for the 2026-27 academic session (p. 1).

Skill Teacher Subjects: Beauty & Wellness, Yoga, Health Care, Electronics & Hardware, Multi Skill Foundation Course, Tourism, and IT (pp. 1, 12-13, 15).
🎓 Key Eligibility Criteria
- Upper Age Limit: 50 years (65 years for retired NVS/Govt. teachers) as of July 1st of the engagement year (p. 8).
- Essential Qualifications:
- PGTs: Master's Degree (50%+) and B.Ed. in the concerned subject (p. 3).
- TGTs: Bachelor's Degree (50%+) in the subject combination, B.Ed., and CTET Paper-II qualification (p. 5).
- Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing (Hons/Regular/Post Basic) and registration with the State Nursing Council (p. 13).
- Skill Teachers: Specific degrees/diplomas related to the trade (e.g., M.B.B.S. or B.Sc. Nursing for Health Care; BCA/B.Sc. IT for IT) (p. 14).
📝 Important Guidelines
- Residential Nature: It is mandatory for staff to reside on the Vidyalaya campus (p. 1).
- Contract Period: Purely temporary until a regular incumbent joins or the session ends on 31st March 2027 (p. 1).
- Selection Process: Merit is determined by weightage given to educational qualifications and experience (usually out of 75-80 marks), followed by a Personal Talk/Interview (pp. 8, 15).
