Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Biotechnology, Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Biochemistry, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Agriculture, or Horticulture with a 4 or 5-year Bachelor's degree.
Alternative Qualification: Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor's and 2-year Master's in Basic Sciences must have a valid NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable Experience: Practical experience in CRISPR gene editing, gene cloning, transformation, or plant tissue culture techniques.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC as per rules).

2. Young Professional-II (YP-II)

Post 1 (Biotech/Life Sciences focus): Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences. Desired experience in Transcriptomics, Metabolomics, Methylomics, or Virus-Induced Gene Silencing.
Post 2 (Bioinformatics focus): Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Plant Breeding, or Plant Biotechnology. Desired experience in PacBio HiFi, Illumina short-read, and Hi-C sequencing data analysis. Note: Candidates must pass a practical Linux skills test during selection.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.
