Career Opportunities at IHBAS: Walk-in-Interview for Project-Based Posts
The Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS) is seeking qualified and interested candidates for several temporary, project-based positions in the fields of Neurology, Psychiatry, Social Work, and Psychology. The institute is holding walk-in interviews and skill tests for these roles on October 15 and 16, 2025, depending on the post (pp. 1-4).

Neurology Project (October 15, 2025)
- Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): 1 post available for a candidate with a First Class Post Graduate Degree (p. 1).
- Technical Support-III: 1 post available. The role requires a three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with three years of experience, or a PG degree in a relevant subject (p. 1).
- Nurse-II: 4 posts available for candidates with a minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA in a three-year General Nursing and Midwife (GNM) course (p. 1).
Psychiatry Project (October 15, 2025)
- Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): 1 post available for a candidate with a First Class Post Graduate Degree (p. 1).
- Technical Support-III: 1 post available. The role requires a three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with three years of experience, or a PG degree in a relevant subject (p. 1).
- Nurse: 5 posts available for candidates with ANM (preferable GNM/B.Sc. Nursing) qualifications (p. 2).
- Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): 2 posts available for candidates with a First Class Post Graduate Degree (p. 2).
- Data Entry Operator Grade-C: 1 post available. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application, IT, or Computer Science, and a speed test of not less than 15,000 key depressions per hour (p. 2).
Psychiatric Social Work/Social Work Projects (October 16, 2025)
- Research Associate: 1 post available for candidates with a Post Graduate degree (minimum 55%) in Social Science discipline with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D (p. 3).

General Instructions for Applicants
Candidates should report for the walk-in-interview/skill test between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the specified dates (p. 6). The venue is the Activity Room, Academic Block, IHBAS, Dilshad Garden, Delhi 110095 (p. 6).
Applicants must bring a completed application form (Annexure-I), a recent passport-sized photograph, and self-attested photocopies of all educational, experience, and age-related documents (p. 6). Candidates should also bring all original documents for verification (p. 6). The upper age limit is relaxable for OBC (3 years), SC (5 years), and PWD (10 years) candidates as per the rules (p. 6). OBC candidates from Delhi are only eligible for reservation and must submit a caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority of GNCT of Delhi (p. 6).
